Social Hour for Transplants

Transplant Tuesday is the first event in our new ROOTED: Transplant Series! Come connect with other transplants* to Baltimore City over art, food, and games at Meander Art Bar.

*Transplants include anyone who moved to Baltimore city from anywhere as close as Baltimore County and as far as across the world.

ROOTED is a social networking series for Baltimore Transplants who want to find their people and their go-to places around the city.

Whether you’re from a different county, state, or country — each experience in the series is curated to help you build community, explore the city, and get ROOTED in your new home in Baltimore.

Here’s what you can expect at the Transplant Tuesday Social Hour:

→ 7PM-7:30PM: Find Your People

Our reserved tables will be organized by hobbies and hometowns to help you instantly find your people. Use our conversation starters and connection-based games to skip the small talk and connect over shared interests and lifestyles.

→ 7:30PM-8:30PM:  Break Bread

Pick a table and sit down with a few of the people you want to get to know better. Get comfortable. Order food and drinks. Keep the conversations going while you eat, do an art kit, and play games. (Purchase Art Kits for half off!)

→ 8:30PM-til: Mix and Mingle

Mingle and move freely and connect with the rest of the room. The event ends at 9PM but feel free to stay until they close at 10PM.

Seating is limited to keep this event intimate so we recommend securing your ticket early.
