It's officially summer, let's go outside and play 😎 Join us for an evening at the park and meet people who actually want to meet new people.

What to Expect

— The cookout classics: Uno, Spades, Dominoes, and a playlist of timeless hits that feel like summer

— Cornhole

— Snacks

— Pickup basketball games and tennis matches — we'll run an unofficial tournament if enough people want in. (There will be a couple of basketballs and tennis rackets on-site, but bring your own if you have one.)

Tickets are $10 and cover the games, supplies, and everything we're bringing.

Optional walkable side quests

— New Orleans-style snoballs at Ice Queens, a Black women-owned shop located right across the street

— Soft serve ice cream at Miss Twist, a 3 minute walk away

What to Bring:

— Blanket or chair to sit on

— Something shareable to snack or sip on (we'll have water, ice, and disposable plates, cups, and utensils)

— Your dog — There's a dog park right next to where we'll be setting up

The Logistics:

— Free and cheap paid street parking is available around the park.

— We'll send out more details so you know exactly where to meet us two days before the event
